The current DVB-T receiver from icube currently only has a 30-pin interface. Currently, an adapter is needed to connect the Tivizen Pico to iPhone 5, iPad 4 or iPad Mini. Since this design is rather bulky, icube is working on a lightning variant of its DVB-T receiver.
The Tivizen Pico does not require a separate power source and can be used on the road with the smartphone or tablet. In addition to the Tivizen Pico, you only need to install the associated app to receive DVB-T content.
Available is the new Tivizen Pico with lightning connection from the early summer 2013 for a price of around 80 euros.
The DVB-T tuner also allows the recording of the current program. You can manage your recordings via a Playlist. If you do not want to record the program, you can simply pause the current program and continue at any time. An electronic program magazine is available for better programming.
