Reviews: Panasonic TX-L37GW20 - TV (37 inch)

The Panasonic is network-capable. It can even be booked into a wireless network via an optional WLAN dongle for 100 euros. The Internet fan can also connect a keyboard to the USB port for entering search terms.

Also USB-compatible: an optional webcam (170 Euro), which turns the TV into a Skype-Bildtelefon. In addition to MPEG-2 and DivX files, high-resolution AVCHD movies can also be played at the push of a button. The highlight is that the TV can even record digital SD and HD programs on a USB hard drive.

The operation makes the Panasonic really fun. The developers abandoned opulent graphics in favor of a high working speed. Whether in the DLNA network or on the Internet, he reacts promptly to every key press. Less well: he forgets EPG content and builds it only after a few seconds.

The sound quality is neat, though not spectacular, thanks to the large speakers. In the picture, the TV equipped with classic tube backlight showed slight weaknesses with the black value. For this he scored with an outstanding sharpness. Also, the motion display for movies is passable.
