Angelockt of success models such as Maxdome, Lovefilm or Watchever, the American pay-as-a-caller Sky, under the title “Snap by Sky” from today also offers video on demand via the Internet. As already reported, Sky has been working on the offer for a long time under the working title Skyflix. Today the new service begins, as the advertising of the Sky TV programs and the Snap website promise.
With Snap the package dominated by Sky is dissolved: Individual shipments of all packages are ordered independently of a Sky subscription. Snap costs 9.90 euros per month. For Sky customers there is the service for 4,90 Euro.
