The “Edifier Breathe” is a very powerful docking station in half-ball design. IPhone / iPod (or any MP3 player) at the top. For this purpose, it has an FM radio section and an AUX connection for additional signal sources. Edifier uses a three-way system with stereo / mid-range speakers in a stereo arrangement and a downward-facing subwoofer. The Breathe is operated from the supplied remote control or from the device itself.
The "Soundbar USB" is especially designed for operation on notebooks. With about 26x4x4 centimeters it is very compact, but should sound much better than any internally installed laptop speakers. The aluminum case fits into any notebook case, no additional power supply is needed.
The "Edifier Prime USB" comes with a USB hub with four ports. As a result, the small stereo system can be used mainly on the PC, although it can be used flexibly through the USB connection. Two full-range speakers with a diameter of 50 mm ensure good sound. In the design it reminds with its angular lines and the white lacquer in the 70s.
All three models are now available. The prices are 40 euros for the soundbar and 50 euros for the prime. The Breathe, which is aimed at the upper segment, is in a completely different category with 350 euros.
