Instagram with shortvideos: Facebook makes Twitters Vine's competition

For a long time it was assumed that Facebook wants to equip his Fotodienst Instagram with video features. Until last, it had made Mark Zuckerberg’s company exciting and presented the new video service only on the evening of June 20 at a press conference. This extension to Instagram offers the ability to share 15 seconds of video clips and comes with numerous additional features, as can be seen on the Instagram blog.

Facebook aims with the new feature on the competitor Vine of Twitter. Instagram tries to override this with some features.

So there is 15 seconds in length compared to the 6 seconds of Vine. Instagram provides additional filters, image stabilization, a front frame, and the ability to delete the last clip. Instagram is expected to have 130 million users, which means that about 100 million users have been added since the takeover by Facebook a year ago. Twitters Vine is also placed very well on the Internet.
