Windows 10: Defender, Apps & Co. - Turn off notifications

We’ll show you how to disable Defender notifications in the Windows 10 Action Center and other annoying messages. This makes the operating system less frequent and spares your nerves. But how does it actually come to constant news about new apps, self-evident changes to settings and co.?

For example, you can recognize the different types of data in Windows at their endings. For example, there is .ocx for a Word file, .xlsx for an Excel file, and .mp3 for an audio file. If you install a new program, Windows will also report to it which file types it can process. This, in turn, triggers a desktop notification that annoys many users.

The notification is disabled via the Windows Registry. There are countless settings saved. However, if you follow the steps in the image gallery exactly, the risk of errors is zero. If necessary, you can also easily remove the change.
