Particularly business travelers need a notebook, which is as small as possible, with all its functions at a low weight. The XP7210 from JVC brings full Windows XP functionality and only 885 grams on the scale. The performance of the notebook, in which a PIII 800 ticks, is sufficient for all office applications. As a game console it is hardly necessary because of the weak 3D performance. However, the notebook is quite good for an occasional game, if it does not make too much demands on the graphics chip. With 256 MB, the RAM is generously sized and the fast hard drive offers 30 GB of storage space. A network connection is also integrated as a 56k modem and a SD card slot. For the connections, JVC also offers two times USB and once Firewire. A CD drive is not included in the basic price, but can be purchased separately for 260 euros. With the lighter lithium-ion standard rechargeable battery, the running time under full load is about 70 minutes, with the additional battery pack still 100 minutes more. The 8.9 inch display provides a crisp image with a standard resolution of 1024×600 pixels. The keyboard is naturally small and is hardly suitable for writers with large fingers.
