The Ricoh HZ15 is the first new compact zoom camera from Ricoh Imaging Company after the repositioning of Pentax and Ricoh. The handy entry-level model comes with 15x zoom equivalent to 24-360-mm KB focal length and 16-megapixel CCD with sensor-shift image stabilization. The macro function makes it possible to shoot at distances as small as 3 cm. The Ricoh HZ15 takes an interval of 30 seconds, 1, 5 or 10 minutes.
Price and availability
The Ricoh HZ15 monitors the image via a 3-inch LCD monitor with 76,666 RGB pixels. HD videos the HZ15 takes up only with 1280 x 720 pixels at 30 B / s, also with image stabilization. The HZ15's lithium-ion battery is recharged in the camera.
Specifications
The Ricoh HZ15 with black housing in "Glossoptik" is to be available from September 2013 for 130 euros.
