In the picture quality, the Sony model occupies only one midfield space. However, what is not really bad in this test field, as the quality of all test candidates is at a very high level. Comparatively good was the quality with dimly lit subjects. While in these situations many camcorders show strong picture noise, the Sony videos have been relatively quiet.
