The HD entry-level camcorders have consistently good to very good characteristics. Manual control is hardly offered, but the automatics usually work perfectly.
Position
Compared to the "large", high-priced models, one must of course make cuts in the equipment. For example, there is no searcher or accessory shoe.
Even in indoor rooms or dark scenes are difficult to achieve without additional light. But there are also solutions for this, such as the Panasonic model. This has a built-in video light, which turns itself on automatically, as soon as the light for the recording is not enough. The bottom line is that all the models tested offer a good introduction to the HD video camera.
