Google & NSA: Secret collaboration reveals

As evidenced by emails between the NSA and Google bosses, the spies and the IT group have closely coordinated discussions on security strategies. The NSA Director Keith Alexander, the Google CEO Eric Schmidt and Google co-founder Sergey Brin had already met before 2012, before the Snowden revelations, various collusion by e-mail. In addition to appointments between the secret service officer and Google representatives, the correspondence contains further indications for a collaboration between the security authority and the IT group. From the mails, among other things, an invitation to a multi-hour, secret meeting on June 28, 2012 "to a safe place near the San Jose airport". From the mails it is also clear that before and after this conference, there were further meetings of "small groups of board members" with the NSA.

This collaboration is part of a secret government initiative called the "Enduring Security Framework" (ESF). The government is using help from the Silicon Vally, it continues in the news. On topics stood u.A. The "security of mobile devices" on the program. "Successes of cooperation and new objectives" should also be discussed in further meetings. Some US experts speculate that the data taps that have become known in the context of the Snowden revelations were part of this "collaboration" between the lines between Google data centers.
