LG 29EA73-P in the test

If you work in several windows simultaneously in Windows, you can quickly appreciate the advantages of this “XL-Widescreens”. Extensive Excel spreadsheets, blueprints and the like benefit from the full screen width. LG provides a small tool called “Screen Split”, which allows you to split the screen area into up to four areas to place Windows windows as desired.

Conclusion

Alternatively, two of the input sources (DVI, HDMI or DP) can simultaneously be displayed. The illumination of the spread screen LG is very uniformly succeeded. The maximum brightness of 332 candelas / m² is good and the gray grades are separated cleanly. The in-picture contrast of only 304: 1 shows slight weaknesses.

Thanks to its 21: 9 screen, the LG 29EA73-P offers handy advantages when working and playing. Also the image quality is right: illumination and color reproduction are very good, the reaction time is low.
