The travel planners of Marco Polo and G-Data hardly differ in terms of the scope of functions and data. However, PowerTravel 6 professional brings a manual, which makes the package 10 euros more expensive.
The professional version of G-Data's Power-Route series is almost identical to Marco Polo's great travel planner. It is based on the same data from Map & Guide and also contains plenty of additional information for travel planning. G-Data adds a "bargain guide" with addresses for cheap shopping trips. However, the test drive gives the 64-page manual - and by the way, the only software in the test field that comes with a manual. Unfortunately, the weaknesses of the Great Trip Planner are also the weaknesses of the G-Data program. The "take over" is superfluous and the cards could be more detailed.
