Paypal backup: warning of dangerous phishing site

Do not go to the website paypal.sicherung.com.de or corresponding modifications of this internet address! In many e-mail mailboxes, paypal spam is currently wishing to direct users to phishing websites with more or less obvious tricks. The authors of “Mimikama – Verein zum Aufklärung über Internetmissbrauch” (“Mimikama – Verein zum Aufklarung über Internetmissbrauch”) have struck a website that is deceptively genuine and makes a serious impression through fault-free language and a true-to-original design.

Although the said fake website no longer hides behind the above URL, the responsible people behind it are soon to come up with new URLs around the corner that untrained users can quickly embed a bear. The ".de" address is decisive for Mimikama. In fact, the average user is not likely to suspect anything. For the GAU (largest accident to be taken), the authentically effective web page, which the security blog has documented, provides for this.

The language is error-free and the advertising slogans and descriptions on the Fake website to Paypal suggest that you are actually on an official website of the online payment service. If you enter your data, the same happens as on other phishing websites: they reveal your data to the fraudsters - access, credit cards, bank accounts and more.

Prevent this! Familiarize yourself with general e-mail security rules: Serious vendors do not send messages that ask for passwords. In case of doubt, enter the address of the provider manually into the browser and look for possible problems in your online account. Probably everything will be the same there. Just click on a phishing website by mistake, usually help you get the latest virus protection.
