Watchdogs: GTA 5 Alternative for PS4 and Xbox One without 1080p Full HD

The release of the Open World game Watch Dogs on 27 May 2017 is an important date for many fans, but the title is a real alternative to GTA 5. However, owners of a PS4 or Xbox One must live with low image resolutions – Ubisoft announced that the game would run on a PS4 in 900p and the Xbox One on 792p.

Also interesting is

Jonathan Morin, the creative director of the game, justified this decision in the official Ubisoft blog: "The resolution is a number, just like the Framerate is a number, which are important aspects of game development, but decisions are made about the game experience In our case the dynamics are the most important. "

Morin also said that exploration and expression was all about the game. One would like to achieve a constant Framerate, but the dynamics as core of the player's experience have. This also applies to image resolution.

But could not the shift of the release date from November 2013 to the 27th of May 2017 to use to improve the image resolution? No, says Morin, because that was never the goal.

The additional time has been used to improve game dynamics and ensure that the player can "express himself by hacking without being disappointed by the visual and playful reactions of the game."

This perfection of the gameplay is enormously important for the makers of Watchdogs - the picture resolution has nothing to do with it. Therefore, these things have a lower priority in the development, so that no compromises should be made with the essence of Watchdogs.

Also owners of a game console of the past generation, the PS3 and Xbox 360, must live with an incision: The free-roam multiplayer will not be there. Decryption mode has also been deleted from the version for both consoles.
