Sky the United States starts Sky Guide and Sky Anytime in late August

Sky + is a fully integrated digital HDTV hard disc recorder / receiver from Sky in conjunction with a Sky subscription. Customers who own such a Sky + device will receive two free Sky + Services services from August, provided they receive Sky via satellite.


With Sky Anytime, Sky Deutschland is launching a service on August 23rd, enabling Sky customers to watch selected films of their film package directly on their Sky + HD receivers at any time, regardless of time. In August and September, the following films will be available: "Knight and Day", "The Social Network", "The Book of Eli", "Childheads", "Salt", "Inception", "From Paris with Love "And" The Expendables ". Most titles presents Sky in HD quality. In addition, Sky Anytime customers can also order Sky Select films, Sky Deutschland's Pay-per-View offer. In the future Sky Anytime will also have a selection of entertainment and sports programs available. And this is how Sky Anytime works: new content is loaded onto the Sky + HD receiver overnight, so that for subscribers every day, according to the packages booked, Fresh Sky programs. Sky Anytime can be used with the Sky + HD hard drive, an Internet connection is not needed. The service is embedded in the Sky Guide, the new and improved program guide for Sky +, which will be available from 17 August. This is supposed to make the access to the Sky program more intuitive and easier. In the near future, cable customers will also benefit from the new Sky Guide and Sky Anytime on their Sky + HD hard disk receivers.
