Apowersoft Free Audio Recorder: Cut songs on the PC

The Free Audio Recorder splits the songs into individual files and names them.

1. Install the Free Audio Recorder - for example, from PCgo's DVD DVD 4/2016 in the "Streaming Tools" tool package. Change the language in the menu under Tools / Languages. By clicking on ... at output, you determine where the recordings are stored on your computer.

2. Under Audio input, define what you want to record: the microphone, the system sound, or both. Select the System Sound setting.

3. Go to Options under the Tools menu item. Select Auto Split ... to create a single file for each song. You can also specify the audio codec to use when recording.

4. Click Record now. The program starts recording as soon as music is played. When recording, the audio recorder automatically recognizes song and artist, names the audio files and completes the ID tags. This saves manual rework.

IMPORTANT: Please do not upgrade the Freeware Apowersoft Free Audio Recorder 2.3.4. The provider has drastically restricted all subsequent program versions in favor of a paid purchase version in the range of functions.
