Multimedia manager for the car of JVC

The KW-V 50 BT from JVC is a multimedial all-rounder for the car. He does not only show films, videos, photos or song titles on his screen. The 7-inch touch screen (17.7 centimeters) also controls the complex multi-media effect and directs the signal streams exactly where they are required.

For example, it is possible that the driver hears news or traffic in the front of the radio while the children are served a movie at the back. There are high-quality connections available for the signals.

An HDMI or MHL input ensures that high-resolution videos, pictures and music from smartphones or tablets are received in the best quality. Video signals can be displayed on the WVGA panel (800 x 480 pixels) of the JVC receiver or transmitted to additional screens in the car. This also works with app content.

A rear USB port is used to connect digital sources such as MP3 players, USB sticks or smartphones. The devices are also loaded via the interface and can be operated via the touch-screen of the receiver.

The USB port accepts all major video, audio and photo file formats such as MP3, WMA WAV, ACC, FLAC, AAC, DivX, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG- WMV, AVI, MKV, JPEG, PNG, BMP.

Other connectors include line inputs and outputs as well as three pre-outs for front, rear and subwoofer speakers. An interface for a rear control camera is available. The KW-V 50 BT comes with a cable microphone.

A wireless remote control is available as an option. If necessary, the receiver can also be controlled via the original vehicle steering wheel remote control. In this case, an optional adapter is required. The KW-V 50 BT multimedia receiver is priced at € 600 from April.
