Philips BT6600 in the test

The BT6600 is operated in a vertical position, so that a fast all-round radiation is achieved. In the room, this creates a nice stereo effect when cornering, a wide-angle sounding in the open. To support bass reproduction, Philips has installed two passive diaphragms.

Conclusion

Very good: Multipair allows the connection of up to three speakers, double-sided Bluetooth 4.0 reduces the battery consumption. The built-in battery is enough for 12 hours of music. Convenient: The housing is splash-proof.

The BT6600 is surprisingly sound with a broadly balanced sound with broad heights and pleasant midrange. You can not expect a powerful low-frequency reproduction with the small case. As the frequency response shows, however, 80 hertz are transmitted, so that a round sound image is produced overall. The maximum level is only for small outdoor events.

The BT6600 from Philips offers the latest technology including multiroom functionality with up to three speakers. It is balanced in sound, with low bass cutoffs and maximum volume.
