The retro gaming trend and the retro PC scene have also 8-bit music to revive a revival. The developers of Arcano Systems LLC want to support 8-bit fans with a new kickstarter project. The Obscura is a midi synthesizer to create sounds in the style of old Nintendo-, Amiga- or C64-Games. It has 16 presets. The Obscura does not require any programming knowledge; advanced users can develop their own software for the device.
