Cewe offers photo books with 3D photos and videos

The new version 5.0 of the Cewe design software is free to download. The videos can be easily integrated into the book via drag-and-drop. The program automatically pulls individual images out of the clip and packs them into a filmstrip – together with a QR code, so you can then follow a direct link with a smartphone or tablet and get the running video.

Videos in the CEWE PHOTO

The video integration costs 2 euros per video, whereby the video for 3 years is deposited in the personal online photoservice gallery of the customer. An extension of the storage period is possible according to the press release, but there are currently no price specifications. How the integration works, explains this Cewe product video

The new software can now also process 3D photos in the formats MPO and JPS. The 3D photos are shown in the photo book as an anaglyph image in red and cyan. They can be viewed as 3D photos with glasses.

In addition, the user interface of the online order assistant has been reworked so that you now have to go through fewer operating steps. In the design, a so-called "intelligent object catcher" helps the automatic alignment of objects such as photos and texts with help lines. Cewe now provides another 100 backgrounds as well as an extended clipart and passpartout library.
