The KFA2 GeForce GTX 1070 is the first graphics card with the new Nvidia chip to buy for less than 400 euros.
MindFactory and other shops offer a Geforce GTX 1070 graphics card for the first time for under 400 euros. It is a custom design of KFA2 with a minimal GPU clock speed and a simple but cool design. At the price, buyers probably can not expect miracles in terms of cooling performance and quieter operating volume. However, it should be emphasized that the KFA2 card provides two connections for the power supply - a 6-pin and an 8-pin connector for the power supply. The reference design provides only an 8-pin connector.
In the case of the KFA2 Geforce GTX 1070, overclockers can therefore rely on more power reserves if they want to chip the chip out. In this case, remember to switch the graphics card cooler so that the card is not damaged. The design of the built-in cooler with two fans corresponds to the more affordable and thus less powerful solutions across the offer of Geforce GTX 1070 graphics cards
It is all about a slightly better alternative to the Founders Edition (Nvidia's reference design). This is rather unpopular with potential buyers due to limited power connections, the comparatively noisy standard cooler from Nvidia and most recently the price of around 500 euros. The reference design as a rule is based on an 8-pin connection and thus allows only limited overclocking possibilities. The fan is audible at the Founders Edition under load and lets the graphics chip on standard clock already times up to over 80 degrees.
KFA increases the clock minimum to 1.518 MHz, standard is 1.506 MHz. Otherwise the performance values are identical to the Founders Edition. With the standard cooler of the KFA2 card, you might be able to push into similar temperature ranges when playing. That would be high, but not yet critical. Without a test, however, we can not provide more precise information.

Nevertheless: The savings of around 100 euros is very good and after the launch of the graphic chip in June a real novelty. Click here for the offer at Mindfactory. The online shop still shows a stock of over five graphics cards in the morning - so it's worth it.
