With three TV sets, the traditional company Metz, established from insolvency, wants to inspire TV sales. The new Planea series consists of three UHDTV units with 43, 49 and 55 inches. The 32 inch screen diagonal smallest Planea model offers a FullHD display – more than adequate for this picture size. All devices are 3D compatible and do not require a network cable near the TV thanks to the WLAN module. In the Soundbar, there are four forward-radiating speakers for the sound.
Topas is Metz 'top model
The optics and the reception technology characterize Metz 'new top model. The 55-inch Topas is a UHDTV, which is housed in a silver anodised aluminum case.

Thanks to two twin multi-tuners (2x DVB-C / T / S2), up to two programs can be recorded on the integrated 1TByte hard disk recorder, while you can see a third one. As with the Planea, the sound module accommodates four speakers. They bring it to a power of 70 watts. The sound module is also detachable.
Metz has also reworked the Pureo series at the IFA 2017. It is now available with screen diagonals of 32, 43 and 49 inches. The new design is striking with its side-mounted legs, reminiscent of a triangle. Metz has not entered any information about the prices and availability for the new products. Previously, the Pureo was available with 47 inches at street prices starting at around 1,200 euros. The 32-inch model cost around 800 euros.
