Just Cause 3 test: Destruction rage par excellence

We tested the action game Just Cause 3.

Just Cause 3 Review: The Game Principle

Just Cause 3 in Test: The story is quickly told. General di Ravello ruled the meditative island paradise Medici with an iron hand. Rico Rodriguez wants to make sure the ruler disappears - and with as many bangs as possible.

Just Cause 3 test: The control

The fun of Just Cause 3 has not done much. OK then. For it is still almost customary to hunt down everything that is not niet- and nail-proof in order to achieve goals, for example, to free individual cities or military bases from the iron hand of the dictator. Particularly exciting is the new Wingsuit, with which Rico moves elegantly from place to place.

Just Cause 3 test: The graphic

Lesetipp: buy PS4 - you have to pay attention

Just Cause 3 on Test: And otherwise?

As a reward for a conquered place, we get new toys, which we can discard directly on the spot. There are also individual events, such as special races, which are distributed almost all over the island.

At the control, the developer studio could have a little more. The vehicles on the ground can only be controlled very spongy, while the flight behavior is much more comfortable. On the foot, the control is a bit overloaded here and there, which is also due to the new possibilities and tricks that Rico now dominates

In graphic terms, Just Cause 3 does not have to hide. Medici looks quite beautiful, and it's fun to just stroll over the map. Particularly impressive are, of course, the destruction organs, which in part result in breathtaking explosions with lavishly many details. This, in turn, partly causes severe Framerate dips on the PS4. This does not so much disturb the fun of the game, because the force of the destruction makes the small Framerate problems easy.

The story is slightly flat, the characters quite one-dimensional. This is the humor, the partial even quite coarse and with appropriate flatwashes. The American synchronization, on the other hand, is rather negligible. Even if one could commit to Rico Rodriguez Moritz Bleibtreu, this often has little motivation. Too bad.

If Just Cause 3 already knows and appreciates, Just Cause 3 can easily be accessed. And if you are looking for a great graphics with stunning destruction, you should not shy away from buying. The story is negligible and the control partly overloaded. Otherwise the addictive principle "Only one more mission!" Perfect
