With CoffeeCup Free FTP you can easily copy files and directories between local PC and remote server. The free software provides all the necessary functions for everyday use, but deliberately omits unnecessary extras.
Once set up, you store all the important information in profiles and connect the computer to the server at the touch of a button. The properties included in profiles include access data, destination directory, and transfer mode. For the latter, you have the choice between transferring in binary or ASCII mode, for example. If you are unsure, the Auto mode selects the appropriate transfer mode for your files.
The interface of CoffeeCup Free FTP is cleanly structured and divided into three areas. The two upper windows show the files and directories on the PC as well as the connected FTP server. In the lower window, the files with status information and details for transmission are displayed. To start an upload or download, select the files to be transferred in the respective window and click on the "Upload" or "Download" buttons. Alternatively, drag and drop the files or folders into the other window.
