IT heads: Oliver Auerbach

In this function, he is responsible for product development and quality assurance as well as the Avira virus laboratories. Its objectives include, among other things, the research of new safety technologies and their implementation into the Avira product range worldwide. Auerbach also wants to increase the security of users of social networks with new solutions. Oliver Auerbach started his career at Avira in 1997 with an education in the virus laboratory, later responsible for the development of a new virus lab in Romania’s capital Bucharest and was there in the departments Web Services and Business Applications. Most recently, he was Vice President of Marketing.
