In order to stand out from the crowd, the camera manufacturers are hitting details rather than the big new trend. The most innovative is the rather rare guest Voigtländer with its underwater-usable UX1. Pentax also serves dive photographers, but it adapts the camera signal to the usual custom.
Samsung brings a camera to mount and one with the softtouch buttons along the monitor as an alternative to the touchmonitor. Otherwise everything as usual: More megapixels with Samsung NV11 and Pentax A30, more zoom at the Samsung L77 and less price with Samsung S730 and Casio EX-Z 75.
