PTLens in the test: Lens correction of ePaperPress

PTLens Overall rating: 78 points (maximum 100 points)

Test data

PTLens from ePaperPress is the classic of the lens correction tools and has a huge number of lens profiles - especially with older models.

In addition to distortion, the PTLens alternatively corrects other objective-type errors such as edge shading (vignetting) or color fringing (chromatic aberrations).

The perspective distortions are corrected by sliders, both horizontally and vertically. In the test, the one with the two sliders with an escape to the top easily. With a second lateral flight, however, no exact correction was possible. This applies, of course, to all programs that implement perspective correction via two sliders for horizontal and vertical - like Adobe Lightroom.
