The Firefox extension Hide Menubar hides the menu bar of Firefox. This will allow you to gain some space in height so that you need to see more of your sites without having to scroll. Of course you need the menu bar occasionally, for example to make changes to the Firefox options. But the path is not far: Press the [Alt] key to bring up the menu bar. Press again and the bar disappears again. To do this, you must remove the check mark from the menu bar after installing Hide Menubar.
