You can use Family Safety to control when and how long your children are allowed to use the PC.
1. To adjust the PC usage time, click Computer Time, and then select the Set On Time Limits for My Child's Use. Once you have activated the function, you can control exactly where your child is allowed to use the PC.
2. For each day of the week, set the times at which your child can use the PC. Then, set the Restriction per day on this device to determine how long the PC may be used. Here you can set a total duration in 30-minute intervals. If you check the Block access all-day option, your child is not allowed to use the PC on that day at all. Settings are activated immediately, even if your child is already registered.
3. As soon as the service life has expired, the screen of the PC is locked and various options are displayed on the screen. Either the PC is switched off or another user, can log on or continue to be used. To send an online request by e-mail, click Children; Send Request. If a parent is in the house, the disconnection can be activated, offline by selecting My mother or my dad is here.
4. Parents can open up the further use of the PC via the info center of Windows 10, but also by e-mail. In the web interface it is possible to determine how long the child can still use the PC until the PC is locked again. Once the usage has been released, the child can continue to use the PC. The process takes only a few seconds.
