Colorfoto.de Compact

This year, the fall not only brings many new IFA models, which enrich the compact camera market with interesting innovations, but also an important new feature from our side: a further developed test method that adequately takes into account the loss of texture as a measure for the fine drawing. At the same time, we are converting the point computation: as the bearing support pillars of a good picture quality, the resolution, the noise and the loss of texture are equally reflected in the result.

In doing so, the individual evaluations are no longer added but multiplied, so that a lousy value leads to a bad overall result, even if the other two are particularly good. Finally, an extremely noisy picture remains unsightly even when resolution and texture are correct. Conversely, a weak noise can not do anything against missing details. What are the use of two particularly strong pillars when the one rotten causes the whole system to collapse?

Among other things: the second Fujifilm camera with variable pixel size, the new Ricoh focal length lens with a light-focussed lens and an 18-megapixel zoom from Panasonic, the SLRs want to relax the buyers.

Conclusion: The old tried and tested 3x zoom is apparently unfashionable! Nowadays in compact cameras, lenses with a considerably larger range of focal lengths are submerged and thus even very decent results, as Panasonic proves with the 26 mm flat 8x zoom camera ZX1. It deserves the purchase tip wide angle. Likewise, the compact 10x zoom Fuji F70EXR with its EXR modes. The recommendation Megazoom goes to the Panasonic FZ38, among other things because of its extensive equipment, the comfortable operation and the above-average image quality.
