Office 2017: Release, test, screenshots and an alternative

Office 2017 runs on PCs, tablets, and smartphones

Microsoft has dated the release date of Office 2017 to September 22nd. The office suite is now available, although the Microsoft Shop for Office on Amazon is currently waiting for an update. You can find other offers where you can get Office 2017 as a student or business version. The prices for Home & Student start at about 130 euros, for Home & Business Microsoft calculates about 220 euros. Versions for Mac users are also available. The prices are just above the Windows counterparts.

Office 2017 is Microsoft's new office suite, which is available only a short time after Windows 10. Changes are primarily a better connection to the cloud and detail improvements. Previously, the Redmonder, similar to the Technical Preview of Windows 10, have released a preview version of Office 2017, which users can test for free. We have examined Office 2017 in a first test and have mostly come to a positive conclusion. The performance has increased and there are helpful wizards.

At the design, Microsoft has screwed little, so users of previous Office versions do not have to adjust. Details can be found in our Office 2017 test. There we will also deal with the changes and changes in detail. From this test, many screenshots of the various applications Word, Excel, Powerpoint and more are available for you. Anyone who has not been able to win Microsoft Office so far and who still misses some features such as OpenOffice or LibreOffice should take a look at Softmaker Office 2017 (Test). The Office 2017 alternative comes from the American software company Softmaker and provides full compatibility with Microsoft.
