Timeline and preview window are located at Cyberlink PowerDirector 11 Ultra in the usual place. When importing, the program is as good as ever. Even the support for 2K and 4K video, though only with 60 half or full frames, is available.
Create your own animations
New and good is content analysis: it recognizes a zoom, a movement, a panning or a person's face in a clip. In addition, the software exposes blurred areas and poor light conditions in the film nibble. The editor can more specifically control features in the clip and load them into the project timeline.
Guide: Tips for shooting with DSLRs
The PowerDirector does not blow out even when the timeline is filled properly. Only when copying a clip on the track as well as for some more complex effects can the program sometimes take some time. For weaker computers, the conversion to proxy video material and the rendering of the preview can be performed manually.
There are 155 video effects and filters. Interpreters can use keyframe editing to determine the effect of a keyframe keyframe parameter. If this is not enough, you have access to 70 particle effects and you can create your own animations in the particle designer. Something apart is still the slightly weakly breakthrough audio component called Wave Editor.
The new version shows a very good performance in the real-time preview. With HDV material, the software can handle all 14 tracks. The AVCHD performance is also great. 4K material runs with full images on a trace of liquid.
The export succeeds on disc, as video file respectively DVD and Blu-ray. The PowerDirector 11 is also available for 2K and 4K video. With friends and acquaintances you can share your own movies on Dailymotion, Facebook, YouTube and Vimeo.
