Kindle Fire HDX 7: Nexus 7 Alternative now for 120 euros cheaper

Anyone who loved the purchase of the Kindle Fire HDX 7 should access Thursday at the latest. Only until July 16, Amazon offers its 7-inch tablet with a discount of 120 euros. The 32-GB variant of the tablet hits 149 instead of regular 269 euros. The larger version with 64 GB memory costs 189 instead of 309 euros. The tablet offers better hardware and 3D performance than the Nexus 7 2013 from Google or Asus.


The tablet buyer at the Kindle on a back camera and a full-fledged Android. Instead, Amazon relies on the Kindle HDX 7 for a customized version of the Google operating system, including without having access to the Play Play platform. There is, however, the possibility to roam the Kindle Fire HDX 7 to a current Android to play. However, this should only be done by experienced users, otherwise warranty claims will expire and the device may be permanently damaged.


The Amazon Kindle HDX 7 offers a 7 inch TFT screen with a resolution of 1,920 by 1.200 pixels. This display is fired by a Quadcore SOC (System-on-a-Chip) from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 800 with 2.2 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. The one-chip system also receives gain from a potent Adreno 330 graphics unit, which provides a nimble performance. On board are also a 1.2 megapixel front camera, WLAN n and Bluetooth 4.0.
