Part 4: Firewalls: Is your defense?

Anti-Hacker offers an interesting alternative to Norton and McAfee for beginners as well as advanced, but with fewer features.

During the installation process, Kaspersky Desktop Firewall sets up standard applications with the right access rights. Anti- hackers also have pre-built rules for many other Internet applications. The clear surface is pleasing. Advanced users build their own rules. Too bad that a new rule always has to be created for each port. Anti-Hacker blocks two out of four bypass tests. The stealth mode can be activated by clicking and only shows weak weaknesses in the stealth test. The tool handles the central functions of a desktop firewall - but also no longer. The manual offered on the website is currently only available in English.
