The Reflecta RRL 49 is suitable for video and photo applications. The angle of incidence is 60 degrees. With the batteries, the burning time of the 3.4 Watt LEDs is 160 minutes with half the light output, according to the manufacturer. At maximum brightness of 200 lumens, the two (not included) batteries should last 80 minutes. Alternatively, there is a power supply. At a distance of one meter, the luminaire produces 250 lux light. According to the technical data, the color temperature of the LEDs is based on daylight levels of 6,500 Kelvin. A yellow filter is included, which lowers the light temperature to 5,900 Kelvin.
The included threaded adapter rings allow the use of the RRL 49 Macro in combination with lenses with 49, 52, 55, 58, 62 and 67mm filter diameters. The weight of the ring light should be 150 grams, including the two AA batteries. Thanks to the universal flash shoe, including the locking screw and the Sony adapter shoe, the RRL 49 Macro fits almost every camera / camcorder shoe. The light also has a 1/4 inch tripod thread below.
In May, Reflecta plans to supply the LED video light RRL 49 Makro to retailers, where it will go over the counter for 89 euros.
