Tamron, Tokina and Zeiss News 2017: Preview and Photokina rumors

Tamron has shown in 2017 with the new edition of two SP lenses, where the journey goes. Sales guaranties such as the Megazooms are, of course, being further developed, but top focus is now increasingly being given to the focus on top burns. High light intensity and performance – these are the parameters with which Tamron advances the expansion of its high-quality SP series. As with Sigma and Zeiss, the focus is on fixed focal lengths for the growing resolutions of the APS-C and full-format sensors.

Tamron: With SP to success with full format

According to Nikonrumors.com, which refer in turn to the French magazine Focus Numérique, Tokina plans to introduce a wide-angle zoom SD 2 / 14-20 mm IF DX for APS-C cameras. The zoom with continuous light intensity f2 should be provided with connections for Canon and Nikon, as is usual with Tokina.

Tokina: New wide angle

2015 was a very eventful year for Zeiss: several new optics, the restructuring of the lens range including the introduction of a new product line.

The cooperation with Sony and the development of new bills with a FE bayonet are also likely to be at the top of Zeiss's to-do list in 2017. The Sony A7 cameras sell themselves excellent, there is also need for top lenses. Some sources want to know that Zeiss is developing five new lenses, two of which will soon be presented. That sounds quite feasible - we're looking at light-fast burning with an autofocus, which we will see at Photokina 2017.

Zeiss: Light-weight fixed focal lengths
