Internet Explorer: Settings for more security

If you use Internet Explorer, you should check some settings and adjust them as necessary to ensure a higher level of security when surfing the web or downloading files.


For convenience, some security menu items are summarized in the menu bar above

Cookies are text files that create websites on the user's computer to store information for a certain time. If a cookie is no longer valid, it is automatically deleted. Users can also remove their own cookies, but can also delete them via Internet Explorer, by clicking on "Delete Security / Browser History."
