Theft at the CES: Project Valerie in China

Razers Project Valerie, a gaming laptop with two side displays, was reported stolen at the CES. Now Project Valerie is on sale for sale in China.

In our first report on theft at the CES, we asked: Where is Project Valerie? Now it seems that the thieves who have stolen the gaming laptop with the three screens from the CES have managed to bring it to China. Because there is Project Valerie on the Chinese online auction site Taobao dived. This is reported by Geeks ULTD. On Taobao the stolen laptop is offered for 150,000 yuan, which is about $ 21,740.

Razer had reported the theft of Project Valerie last week. At that time, many readers on the Internet thought the news was a bad PR stunt. At the very least, the doubts about the authenticity of the report should be spared. According to statements by Razer's American PR lead, Jan Horak, the prototype of Project Valerie is very advanced in its development. Either giant gaming fans could start something, or Valerie could be used for industrial espionage.

Project Valerie should not go into production yet according to Razer's plans. So if we have to wait a while for the gaming experience with a triple screen on the laptop, maybe someone can at least look forward to a small financial reward from Razer. The company had rewarded $ 25,000 for references to the perpetrators.
