The menu and symbol display of the Sony A6000 is similar to the A7. The menu structure is logical, but the setting of individual points can take time if the feature is not found until the sixth or seventh submenu. The "Fn" button allows you to call up up to 12 individually configurable functions, preferably for quick setting on the monitor.
In order to give the Sony A6000 the opportunity to show itself at its best, most of the recordings with wide field (wide) -AF in the Intelligent Auto mode were produced, in which the camera itself promises to choose the best setting combinations. In fact, photos of different subjects under various conditions made the right impression to be expected from a 24-megapixel camera.
Only the foreground exposure was sometimes a bit short in backlight shooting. On the other hand, a small fill-flash could help. The slate ceilings were sharp and detailed, color fringing was not an issue for fine structures either. But even with higher sensitivities, the A6000 sensor and processor do a good job, as the pictures of the costume move in torchlight show and other photos with higher ISO values . Special features
The Sony A6000 comes with numerous manual functions and additional settings for special cases. So you can switch from the dynamic range control "DR auto" recommended to the standard setting to "HDR auto" or one of the steps of HDR 1 to 5.
